In July - August we served several expeditions to Muztagh-Ata, one of them - the Lithuanian Muztagh-Ata - 2008 Expedition - was organized by Mr. Saulius Rudnickas. The expedition included 9 climbers and worked in Xinjiang from July 19 till August 13. After acclimatization and installation all altitude camps the team tried to climb Muztagh-Ata. Four climbers - Mr. Edmundas Tilvikas, Mrs. Elvyra Jarasiene, Mr. Saulius Rudnickas and Mr. Edgaras Donela - successfully summited Muztagh-Ata, three of them reached the top on August 3 and one person - on August 7. |
